Sigh.

I hate being in a slump. I got a temp job at the end of November that's going to last until sometime in March. It's 3-11, 5 days a week. Which is great, because yay full-time, but not great because those are my main RPing hours. WERE my main RPing hours. I haven't even looked at [info]thephoenixadmin since New Years. I should be fair to everybody and quit, but I adore the game and Percy. :(

Real life should be more considerate of my online needs about not becoming a cyber hermit.

Hey there, oh wonderful, delicious f-list!

I have a request. I changed my mind a couple days ago about who I'm going to apply for over at [info]thephoenixadmin, so now I'm going for the ever-delightful Percy Ignatius Weasley, yay! I've never played him before (as those of you who know PA's rules had probably already guessed) and I'm very excited. Now here's where all o' y'all come in.



What's your favourite/most memorable/least favourite/you-wish-we-could-have-seen-it-happen-but-it-only-happened-off-screen/ect. Percy moment in the books? Also, random rule I just thought of = If someone else has already commented using the moment you were thinking of, you should pick another one. I'm going for as much variety as possible, so yeah. Participants get... gold stars? Metaphor cookies? I dunno, what would you like?

OMGGGG Someone kick me and make me finish my application for [info]thephoenixadmin. It was due days ago and I probably have to wait before they'll even let me submit it now, but the effing thing is so close to being done that it would just be a waste not to finish. Me = faaaaaaail.

In other news: I finally made up my mind about this year.



I was too busy to finish last year and the year before that, I caught a respiratory infection and couldn't really breathe during the entire second and third weeks of November - which, quite frankly, I considered a pretty good excuse. But third time's the charm, right? So here's hoping.

Okay, I know I just posted about ten minutes ago, but it just occurred to me that, in the moving, job-hunting, death-of-internets confusion, I never bothered posting my Pottermore info here. Thanks to the awesome [info]morgielefae, I got my invite on August 15th, which I'm pretty sure was before anyone else I know - even her, which somehow seems deeply unfair - but I don't think I bothered telling anyone. SO!

I am a Hufflepuff, which, let's be honest, was exactly where we all figured I would be. My wand is rowan, 12 1/2 inches, and surprisingly flexible. And my user name is SilverOak188. I welcome any and all friending attempts, though if you could let me know who you are first, it would be much appreciated. :)

Choose one or more characters of mine, and I will use the Polyvore App to create an outfit they would wear on any given day. (Or, conversely, specify a special event/day and I will make an outfit based around that! For example, a wedding or a funeral.) Fair warning, several of my characters have bad fashion sense as a personality trait. ;P

I am insane. Le sigh. So, I am applying for three new characters. Because what else would I do when I have a late report I'm supposed to be writing, right? Anyway, I'm applying for:

and, probably, former-Healer-turned-Head-of-Public-Health Charles Jones, also at [info]newsalem

It seems like the majority of you all already know New Salem (also, yay, go look at my soon-to-be-posted post in the history comm and plot with Kenneth!), so I'm going to pimp out Consequences a little. *ahem!*

Hey all.

So, reports of my death have been strongly exaggerated, but I did disappear for the past week. My bad. My cousin/godsister (my mother is her godmother and her mother is my godmother) was in a car wreck. She was unconscious for a couple of days, so we were all kind of congregated at the hospital. But. She is awake now, though she has broken her pelvis in two places AND her tailbone, so she's still very high on pain meds. But she isn't dead, so I'm happy.

So, anyone from [info]thispurgatory and [info]powerton that I am neglecting: My sincere apologies. I know I suck. Give me a couple of days to catch up and I'll be back. Promise.
